Adobe have been working on a four part series in the spirit of Bob Ross’s original TV show The Joys of Painting, to bring you a ‘how to’ guide for Adobe Sketch.
Chad Cameron, an illustration artist and teacher is transformed into Bob Ross and plays the role exceptionally well. In the first episode he guides the viewers through the basics of Photoshop Sketch, from how to move the tool set around and selecting tools to choosing colours and strokes. He teaches viewers the various options for sharing your work across apps through Creative Cloud, the “happy little cloud”. Each episode showcases different tools you can use to achieve effects you need to create your work of art, like access to the ‘almighty library’ and ‘funny little brushes’ as well as how to track your creative process.
This is a brilliant set of videos emanating the spirit of Bob Ross and his iconic TV show while showcasing the awesome features of Adobe Photoshop Sketch on the iPad Pro using the Apple Pencil, reflecting on one of Ross’s mantras, ‘it’s your world and all the tools are available to you’, this time with Adobe’s help.
