By combining the new Firefly Video and Audio models with Adobe’s existing Image, Vector, and Design models, Firefly provides the quality, control, and commercial safety that professional creatives require for work throughout their creative lifecycle — from ideation to production. Adobe is also announcing two new offerings — Firefly Standard and Firefly Pro — that give you access to premium Firefly video and audio features. All Firefly plans include unlimited access to Firefly imaging and vector features and tiered capacity for premium video and audio features, so you can choose the right capacity you need to bring your creative projects to life. And they’re not stopping there — coming soon, Firefly Premium will provide even more audio and video capacity for high-volume creators and teams who want to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Firefly is great at generating dynamic landscapes, from sweeping natural vistas to detailed urban environments. The model also demonstrates remarkable capability with animal motion and behaviour, atmospheric elements like weather patterns and particle effects, and mastering both 2D and 3D animation, offering new possibilities for motion design and visual storytelling. Like many AI models, Firefly is still refining its capabilities with human-centric content and Adobe is actively working to improve quickly in this area.
Following Adobe’s commitment to responsible AI development, the Firefly Video Model maintains the same commercial safety standards as their Imaging, Design, and Vector Firefly models. It is trained exclusively on properly licensed content — never on Adobe users’ content — ensuring creators can work with complete confidence. The model now supports 1080p resolution for production-ready output, with a faster ideation model planned for a future release.
Reinventing video workflows with complete creative control
You can control even more details with advanced camera settings such as camera angle, shot angle, and motion. You can choose from either vertical or horizontal aspect ratios. To better guide video generations, you have the ability to add keyframes at the start and end or generate an image in Text to Image to then easily open in Generate Video as the starting keyframe. You can also leverage Firefly-powered features in Adobe Creative Cloud, such as Generative Fill in Photoshop and Generative Remove in Lightroom, to edit photos making it easier to bring them to life with the video model.
Seamlessly convert images into high-quality video clips and generate b-roll to fill gaps in your timeline with Image to Video, ensuring a smooth and professional workflow. Develop compelling storyboards and pitch concepts with ease, using Generate Video in the Edit menu of Text to Image to seamlessly visualise and refine your creative ideas. Guide your video creation process by setting precise starting and ending keyframes, ensuring consistent and visually cohesive results.

The Text to Image interface in Firefly has been redesigned to streamline the creative process. You can now generate, refine, and review your previous creations all within the Text to Image module.
With the new Scene to Image module, you can seamlessly blend 3D shapes into creative workflows by building structure references directly within Text to Image, creating precise visual guides using intuitive 3D tools.
Go global with your audio
Adobe is excited to bring you Translate and Lip Sync, a new way to help you break down language barriers for a global audience. You can now translate and dub videos into multiple languages while preserving the original speaker’s vocal style. This technology automatically adjusts mouth movements to match the translated audio, maintaining authentic expression and timing across languages. Whether localising marketing content, educational materials, or entertainment media, you can efficiently produce multilingual versions of your content without sacrificing quality or authenticity. Translate Audio and Translate Video are available today in 20+ languages, with Lip Sync functionality only available to enterprise customers.
