This month Adobe unveiled a portfolio of next generation creative apps that will expand what’s possible by transforming creative workflows across devices and platforms. Unparalleled innovation empowers you to explore new creative frontiers in 3D design, voice prototyping, 360/VR video, and more.
Among the all new apps and prototypes there are a number of updates and added features to your old favourites.
Photoshop CC
Adobe has unleashed a wave of innovation with Photoshop CC for the iPad, Project Aero, Project Gemini, Dimension CC 2.0 and a major update to Photoshop CC itself.
Photoshop CC on the iPad is the newest piece of the system, bringing real Photoshop to mobile devices with an approachable user experience and the power and precision needed for image compositing. Creators can use the mobile version of Photoshop on its own or as a partner to Photoshop on the desktop. The preview of this new tool is available now, with new operating systems and form factors to be added in future.
Other focused applications like Dimension CC, Project Aero, and Project Gemini each deliver huge and unique benefits themselves, and extend the value of the Photoshop system.
- Dimension gives designers accessible 3D workflows. A big update (2.0) is available now.
- Aero gives designers the ability to create AR experiences. Preview available now.
- Gemini is a focused drawing and painting app for devices like the iPad. Preview available now.

Adobe InDesign
This year’s Adobe InDesign release is the most powerful release yet. Comprising the latest innovations powered by Adobe Sensei, integrating more than 14,000+ fonts, releasing top customer requests, and including over 30 performance improvements.
New properties panel gives you all the controls you need, when you need them – without having multiple panels open.
Content-Aware Fit, powered by Adobe Sensei make it easier to fit images into your frames – using artificial intelligence to detect the best parts of the picture, then scaling and repositioning them so only the best part is displayed.
Layout Adjustment automatically helps you resize your document.
Import PDF comments helps you easily track feedback, and accept or reject comments. Selecting a comment conveniently highlights the selected place mentioned. Documents can also be exported as PDFs with comments embedded so that the reviewer can see all actions taken.
Adobe Fonts Integration gives you direct access to 14,000+ fonts that come with your Creative Cloud membership directly within InDesign CC.

Adobe Fonts
With new Adobe Fonts, all previous Typekit plans are streamlined into one service that gives you our complete library as part of all Creative Cloud plans. Everything you love about Typekit is still hard-wired into Adobe’s DNA: a huge selection of quality typefaces, unparalleled web font service, and seamless integration with Creative Cloud. The major difference you’ll notice is what’s not there anymore.
- No more sync limits. Just activate all the fonts you need. You’ve already paid for them with your Creative Cloud plan.
- No more web font pageview and domain limits.
- No more “web-only” fonts. All the fonts in our library are available for use on both the web and on the desktop.
Starting today, all Creative Cloud plans include our complete library of fonts. This includes single-app plans and the Photography Plan.
