Adobe is very excited about the upcoming release of Adobe Learning Manager that brings the power of agentic AI to your learning programmes. With this update you will be able to create, manage, and deliver your learning on a single AI-native platform.
The update introduces powerful new AI and Agentic AI enhancements, reporting features and platform capabilities designed to improve your learner experiences. Adobe Learning Manager now comes with in-built AI-powered authoring with the new Content Composer (Beta). And now you can create and schedule live trainings from within Adobe Learning Manager, with Live Hub (Beta).
Below is an overview of what you can expect from this release:
Content Composer (Beta)
Enable your instructional designers and authors to produce tailored, in-context, and on-brand learning content quickly, aligned with best-in-class learning principles.
Key highlights:
- Conversational AI with guided questions to capture the training goals and convert them into clear learning objectives.
- Authors can upload existing content, which would act as guardrails while AI creates instructionally sound briefs and outlines, which they can accept or edit.
- AI generates courses, assessments and media using instructional design frameworks, keeping everything on-brand and editable.
- Approved courses deploy directly to Adobe Learning Manager, removing the need for a separate tool or a manual SCORM export and management.
- Integration within Adobe Learning Manager ensures creation, management, and reporting all live on one system, helping streamline operational effort.
Learning Path Agent (Beta)

Learning Path Agent is a conversational AI agent that helps learners define their own learning journey with goal-oriented personalised learning paths.
Key highlights:
- Learner describes their goal and learning objective in natural language.
- The AI understands the proficiency level, and learner need better and translates the requirement into a set of recommended topics.
- Once the learner approves this, the AI Agent curates and sequences a personalized path from the Adobe Learning Manager catalogue, content marketplace and connected third-party providers.
Live Hub (Beta)
Live Hub is an AI-powered virtual training experience within Adobe Learning Manager that helps organisations deliver engaging and impactful live learning. With intelligent features such as AI-powered polls, breakout room orchestration, persistent learning spaces, and AI-powered assistance, Live Hub supercharges instructor productivity while reducing the complexity of session delivery.
Key highlights:
- Elevate live learning with a native Adobe Learning Manager experience that improves instructional quality and learner outcomes.
- Give your instructors an AI-powered co-facilitator that drives engagement through intelligent polls, Q&A support, and breakout room insights.
- Help your learners get more from every session with AI-generated summaries and session recordings searchable by topics.
- Measure what matters with engagement analytics that go beyond attendance to reveal real learner participation.
AI-powered Reporting Enhancements
From conversational intelligence to custom reports — a reporting system for instant and accurate insights, that removes dependency on third party BI tools or tech resources.
Learning Insights Agent (Beta)
A conversational agent to access learning insights using natural language queries, in near real-time and get responses as in-line tables, CSV files or email reports.
- Ask your query in natural language.
- Agent follows-up with dis-ambiguation steps.
- Get insights with reasoning in near real time.
Channels (Beta)
Enable your learners to access informal learning content — tech talks, knowledge-sharing sessions, Teams recordings — scattered across wikis, Confluence pages, SharePoint, and intranet sites at one place within Adobe Learning Manager.
Key highlights:
- Administrators can configure trusted sources of informal learning that should be surfaced within Adobe Learning Manager.
- The system crawls and surfaces the content inside “Channels” — organized as curated, theme-based collections of video content.
- Learners can subscribe to content of interest and initiate peer conversations on discussion boards.
- The content aggregation is automated, and content gets refreshed continuously without any overhead for the admins.
Enhancements to AI assistant for Learners

Launched earlier, AI Assistant for Learners is a Gen AI-powered conversational learning assistant to help your learners with instant, accurate, and tailored responses. The Assistant provides responses with citations and course recommendations, that can help learners improve productivity by creating call scripts, talking points, and elevator pitches on-the-go.
We are making the following enhancements to improve the response quality:
- Learners can now get answers and summaries from specific courses, job aids, and learning objects.
- Gen AI responses now include 3rd party content sources including LinkedIn Learning, Content Marketplace (if subscribed), and Adobe Learning Manager’s Experience League knowledge base.
Other platform enhancements:
Gradebook
Adobe Learning Manager now includes a gradebook that lets authors assign weightages to individual modules, giving learners and admins an aggregated, weighted score across a course. Authors can set completion criteria based on this aggregate score, and the feature works across module types both natively and with LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability). Learners get a transparent view of their progress, while admins can track each learner’s gradebook, and export course transcripts.
Email Templates Builder
A new component-based Email Builder that lets administrators and authors create enterprise-grade, fully branded emails using a modern visual editor, without writing any HTML. Every email your organisation sends, from enrolment confirmations to session reminders, can match your brand’s look and feel precisely.
All existing templates will be automatically migrated to the new Email builder. The roll out will first come to sandbox accounts along with this release. The feature will be rolled out to production in phases over the next few months, with all accounts migrated by the end of year 2026.
External Learning
External learning feature lets learners record and submit training completed outside the platform, such as workshops, certifications, seminars, and continuing education. Once a manager approves a submission, the activity appears in the learner’s transcript, giving organisations a complete view of each learner’s development.
Hierarchical Content Folders
Content Library now supports a three-level folder hierarchy, giving authors a scalable way to organise and locate content across large libraries.
Custom Roles
Custom admins can now create and manage other custom admins. Admins can create custom admin roles with access to create or manage more custom admins within their assigned scope of permissions only. This makes responsibility for delegation easier in large organisations.
Virtual classroom setup enhancement
Set up virtual classroom sessions for Adobe Connect, Microsoft Teams and Zoom and launch them from Adobe Learning Manager using the session set-up links generated within the respective applications, along with the session metadata. Encourage participation by nudging your learners with email-based session invites and updates.
Support for LTI Deep links
This enables LTI platforms to add content from Adobe Learning Manager using deep links in Adobe Learning Manager. The feature supports adding both single and multiple modules.
Important: Learning Path Agent, Content Composer, Live Hub and Learning Insights Agent will be available as a Beta feature and will be turned on by default.
